Our tweed billie skirts are all made in Scotland from 100% wool. They are cotton lined at the waist for added comfort and come with a standard chrome kilt pin. Length is approximately 17 inches. Basic measurements are waist - taken at the belly button; hip measurement; length taken from belly button to mi-knee and height. We obviously want your kilt to look it's best and would like to speak to you personally about taking the measurements.
There are options for payment plans on our kilts with half down at time of ordering and balance due when kilt arrives at our shop. Turn around time is 8 -10 weeks.

This made in Scotland sgian dubh has a Scottish Staghorn handle with Black Leather Sheath. Available with plain endcap or a thistle or stag mount.
The staghorn handle is finished with blackwood on the back and top. Comes in a presentation box. Also available with damascus blade.

Considered to be the first type of sewn pleat in a kilt. First photos from late 1700s and in the 19th Century this was how the kilts were made.
Using between 4 - 5 yards of fabric and generally pleated to one of the stripes. This sample shows the Smith Reproduction tartan pleated to the red stripe. The material was actually woven for the customer and then the kiltmakers made this box pleat kilt.
