Every bear has a custom outfit all made by Marjorie. For over 30 years she has been dressing bears in family tartans. We have a fairly large stock of tartans available but we don't have them all. Once your bear is ordered, we will check our stock for availability. If we don't have the tartan, then an additional $20 will be required so that we can order what is needed. You can make a note about your tartan selection in the notes at checkout.

This Scottish Thistle rope plaque was inspired by 9th century ancient Celtic manuscripts which would have been painted by monks onto vellum or calf skin. Legend has it that the thistle was adopted as the symbol of Scotland when an approaching Viking who had stepped on a thistle, cried out in agony. This is a Pewter Quaich made in Sheffield, England and available in a 2 inch and 4 inch diameter. It has a traditional ornate celtic wire and thistle embossed inside with two celtic handles. Polished finish making it the perfect friendship gift for any occasion. Comes in a black presentation gift box. The Quaich (Scotland's Cup of Friendship) was for centuries, a common domestic utensil which originated in the West Highlands of Scotland. It was the dish from which the Scot supped his porridge and drank his ale. The Quaich became the traditional toasting cup of welcome in Scotland or even good wishes upon farewell or parting.
