The Quaich - probably found in most Scottish Homes - The historic Cup of Friendship. A Gift for all occasions. Filled with the adult beverage of choice (usually the single malt variety) and passed around the table for all to share. Proving the table was a safe place to share a meal and or a drink or two and to start or continue a friendship.
It can be made of almost any material - usually pewter but can be silver, glass wood or horn. And oft passed down several generations in a family.
